LiveCompare/SharePoint Integration November 2014

2018-02-20 - this post is obsolete. The LiveCompare/SharePoint integration components are now included as standard in the LiveCompare-WGI package. See your LiveCompare notice for details or visit: https://www.intellicorp.com/eval/ to request an evaluation copy.

The November 2014 LiveCompare/SharePoint integration package is now available for download. Changes in this package:

  • List management is now handled by a separate WGI (SPResMgr). This is modelling on our HPQC and RQM integration and provides the benefit that passwords are securely stored on the server and not held on each ReadSharePointList action.
  • Added a 'read_list_metadata' command to SPResMgr. This command returns all the data about the schema of a list. Useful to find the true name of a column (see next change).
  • Fixed a bug where if a column name wasn't found in the schema, the result row data may not show up in the LiveCompare dataset.
  • Added sample workflows

    Just some reference notes:

    1. On the LiveCompare server, place the WGI files here \web\binn\wgi

The WGI file are all the files located in the binn folder of the zipfile.

    2. Then run setup workflows in LiveCompare

The workflows are located in the Samples folder of the zipfile.
