This template can be used as a drop-in replacement for the 'Get Performance History Data' action when collecting application statistics. Why use it when there's an action? You may want to collect performance history data from a production server where the LiveCompare transports have yet to be installed - this is quite common with customers using LiveCompare as part of an Upgrade, Consolidation, Support Pack and Enhancement Pack project.
