Integrating LiveCompare with Rev-Trac

In the September issue of Revelation Software Concept's newsletter, CEO and Founder David Drake discusses the benefits of enforced impact analysis as part of Rev-Trac - Revelations' change control technology:

"By fully integrating change control technology and impact analysis solutions, an IT organization can be confident that an impact analysis has been considered and/or taken place and that the results are recorded against the change."

@wolfram - David Drake (Revelation's CEO) and I are talking this week about the implementation plan. From my side I see three integration points: (1) a Rev-Trac workflow step that enforces the execution of LiveCompare's impact analysis for all transports; (2) a Rev-Trac/LiveCompare exchange that eliminates re-keying of transport names into LiveCompare for impact analysis; and (3) a Rev-Trac/LiveCompare automatic exchange of both transports to be analyzed and impact analysis results. As details of the plan get worked out I'll blog about them separately.
